Experienced Account Executive

Summary:
Boiling Point Media is seeking an experienced Account Executive to join our team. The Account Exec (AE) position is in charge of developing strong relationships with customers, connecting with key business executives and stakeholders and preparing marketing reports. The AE is also responsible for managing new client accounts, client check ins, developing new campaigns and ideas as well as going on prospective client pitches.
A candidate for this position should demonstrate knowledge of various marketing aspects, time management, leadership, problem-solving orientation and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Communicating with clients to ensure that all of their needs are understood and addressed
  •  Building strong client relationships to maintain old business and acquire new customers
  • Collaborating with various internal departments to ensure that they fulfill all customer requests
  • Resolving complaints and keeping track of all processes that pertain to the client’s desires
  • Acting as the client’s representative in a firm to ensure that their demands are met with a focus on improving the customer experience
  • Collecting and analyzing data concerning consumer behavior to understand changing needs
  • Website auditing and small edits
  •  Monitoring social posts within a plan each week across multiple social media platforms and ensuring customer voice is demonstrated
  • Attending and assisting with events at various locations, representing the marketing team
  •  Developing and creating direction based on the client for new ideas for use of social media and digital marketing strategies
  •  Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships
  • Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits
  • Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders and directors
  • Develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement to meet sales quotas
  • Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts)
  • Prepare reports on account status
  •  Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of three [3] years of account management experience within the advertising space
  • Experience in traditional and digital mediums
  • Must be able to demonstrate how to integrate with all types of teams (creative digital, etc)
  • Must be able to showcase client care and handle client relationships as well as think strategically about their business
  •  Ability to run a team with multiple projects and hold the team accountable
  • Experience with managing all facets of a typical job – manage client resources and budget, draft creative briefs and timelines, write scripts, manage the day to day, work with project management tool, and be a vital point of contact for clients if the AEs are otherwise engaged
  • Impeccable attention to detail and organization
  • Possess a solid work ethic, be self-motivated, and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Possess strong collaboration skills and interpersonal skills
  • University degree in any major relevant to strategic communications and marketing
    communications a plus
