OKC Chamber | Grand Opening – OKC FAME

Hello Grand Opening Committee,
We sincerely appreciate your support and the value you place on the Oklahoma City Community, which is at the heart of our mission. We are sending this e-mail to remind you of our gratitude.
The Greater Oklahoma City Chamber of Commerce is proud to launch a unique talent program, ‘OKC FAME’ Federation For Advanced Manufacturing Education. This program offers a manufacturing-based work-study opportunity for young adults, providing them with valuable skills and experience.
Our inaugural class of eight students has been accepted into the program to begin this August 2024 at OSU-OKC. This is a two-year degree they will earn debt-free, and they will conclude with an AMT Certification (Advanced Manufacturing Technician).
These young adults will also work part-time and be paid for two years by various sponsoring manufacturing partners who have generously contributed their time and mentorship to these students.
We would LOVE to have at least 20 people attend this extraordinary signing day for these eight students and give them encouragement and support as they embark on this new journey. Would you be willing to be one of the 20?
