Social Media/Digital Marketing Intern

Job Description:

Boiling Point Media is seeking an intern to assist with social media and content creation. We are looking for a candidate who knows how to tell a story and deliver a message. This internship is an excellent opportunity to gain knowledge and experience in social media and content creation. Interns will learn to develop their online voice through social media content creation and will have the opportunity to create content, represent us at our client’s establishments and bring ideas to the table for implementation into digital marketing strategies.

Responsibilities:

• Create social media plans each week for multiple social media platforms
• Create and schedule social media content
• Attend and assist content shoots
• Create IG reels
• Industry research
• Carry out special projects as assigned

Requirements

• Sophomore, Junior, or Senior level undergraduate college student pursuing a bachelor’s degree in marketing, public relations, social media, mass communications, journalism or a related field. 
• Ability to meet weekly deadlines 
• Self-starter able to multitask and stay organized
• Strong knowledge of social media and trends
• Must be able to receive class credit for internship and spend 15 hours per week at our Boiling Point office in Oklahoma City

Responsibilities:

• Developing and executing designs.
• Exporting graphics for both print and digital.
• Understanding brand guidelines.
• Knowing when to use the appropriate software.
• Able to organize files to work with a team.
