Role Overview

The Account Executive is an entry-level, client-facing role designed to develop future account managers, strategists, and business development leaders at Boiling Point Media. This position supports sales efforts, client communication, and campaign execution while learning the fundamentals of marketing strategy, media planning, and agency operations.

This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, relationship-driven, and eager to grow into a full account ownership role over time.

Primary Responsibilities

Client & Account Support

  • Serve as day-to-day support on assigned client accounts alongside Account Managers and leadership
  • Assist with client communication, meeting prep, notes, and follow-ups
  • Help maintain organized client documentation, timelines, and deliverables
  • Support onboarding of new clients and internal handoff from sales to production

Business Development Support

  • Assist with inbound and outbound sales efforts, including research and lead tracking
  • Help prepare pitch decks, proposals, and presentations for prospective clients
  • Conduct market, competitor, and audience research to support sales strategy

Campaign & Project Coordination

  • Support execution of marketing campaigns across digital, social, OTT/CTV, and video
  • Coordinate with internal teams (creative, digital, production, media) to keep projects moving
  • Track deliverables, deadlines, and approvals using Asana and internal tools
  • Assist with reporting, performance summaries, and basic insights for clients

Learning & Growth Expectations

  • Develop a working understanding of full-funnel marketing strategies
  • Learn Boiling Point Media’s service offerings, processes, and value propositions
  • Build confidence in presenting ideas, strategy summaries, and performance updates
  • Progress toward owning smaller accounts or portions of larger accounts over time

 

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Comfortable juggling multiple projects and deadlines
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides)
  • Strong interest in marketing, advertising, media, and client services

Preferred (Not Required)

  • Internship or entry-level experience in marketing, sales, or advertising
  • Familiarity with digital marketing platforms (Google Ads, Meta, OTT/CTV, analytics tools)
  • Experience with CRM systems, Asana, or project management tools
  • Interest in government, tourism, automotive, or regional economic development marketing
