Digital Marketing Strategist

Boiling Point Media is opening a position for an experienced and results-driven Digital Strategist. This position reports to the Digital Manager and works to coordinate our various digital tactics.
The role requires an innovator, a trendsetter, and a progressive thinker who can connect digital to all other aspects of a client business and drive growth opportunities. We are looking for someone who has experience with project management, knows how to create a successful Facebook marketing
campaign as well as PPC, GDN, Performance Max campaigns.
The ideal candidate will have a diverse skill set and will be willing to work on their own or with the team on specific projects. The position entails digital marketing tasks for all of Boiling Point’s clients, as well as tasks for Boiling Point itself. This job role is also heavy on project management and may include some
Account Services tasks. It is a requirement to be flexible in this role, and be a person who is willing to help wherever help is needed.


  • Set and leverage digital marketing strategies using all necessary tools (e.g. website, emails, social media, paid ads and blogs)
  • Research products, services and current strategies to identify new opportunities
  • Analyze web traffic metrics and suggest solutions to boost web presence
  • Create, track and monitor SEO/SEM, marketing and sales performance metrics to forecast trends
  • Keep up-to-date with our audience’s preferences and proactively suggest new campaigns and budgets
  • Liaise with Marketing, Sales, Design and Content teams to optimize customer experience and ensure brand consistency
  • Identify competitors and track competitor’s campaigns
  • Stay up-to-date with digital technologies developments
  • Executes projects to be high quality, on time and cost-effective/on budget
  • Fosters timeline development and monitors progress, ensuring deadlines are met
  • Works with project managers to ensure team is aligned to client requirements
  • Provides campaign performance reporting and analysis to clients
  • Define and action digital events


  • Three to five years of full-time experience in digital marketing or advertising
  • Superior communication skills
  • Strong project management skills
  • Ability to work effectively with a variety of internal teams and business groups, including Creative, Media and Technical Delivery Specialists
  • Ability to identify opportunities for growth and incremental opportunities with client partners
  • Strong interest in technology or digital marketing
  • Proven work experience as a Digital marketing strategist
  • Demonstrable experience with SEO and SEM practices
  • Experience implementing and optimizing Digital campaigns (Adwords, Social, Display)
  • Holds Google Analytics Certification and 2 years of experience
  • Holds Google Adwords Certification and 1 year of experience
  • Familiarity with web design and HTML
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical and project management skills
