Internship Overview:

Are you ready for a hands-on experience that covers the entire spectrum of an agency? Boiling Point Media is offering a unique internship opportunity where you will be immersed in all aspects of Boiling Point, from social media and graphic design to organization, production assistance, task development, and beyond – focusing on Boiling Point. 

As an intern, you will play a pivotal role in learning our multifaceted team – gaining valuable skills. This isn’t an internship where you’ll be handed all the boring tasks – you’ll get to jump in, be a pair of extra hands, and learn while the team works together to brainstorm ideas, create content, and prepare strategies. Sure, there will be a few boring tasks (we all have them), but we’ll make them fun and do them together so you’re prepared for the workforce. This isn’t an internship where you just do your own thing – we make sure you’re ready for the workforce in the best way we can.

Responsibilities:

Social Media Management:

  • Contribute to the creation and curation of engaging content across various social media platforms.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop and execute effective social media strategies.
  • Monitor and analyze social media performance metrics.
  • Conduct audits to help develop and progress businesses 

Organization:

  • Support day-to-day operations by maintaining organized files, schedules, and project documentation.
  • Contribute to the overall efficiency and orderliness of the workspace.
  • Assist in scheduling and coordinating meetings and events.

Production Assistance:

  • Gain hands-on experience in media production processes and workflows.
  • Assist with getting behind the scenes during productions on and offsite.
  • Learn about equipment, logistics, and coordination in a production environment.

Task Development:

  • Collaborate with team members to brainstorm and plan project tasks.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of project plans.
  • Participate in task-oriented projects to enhance organizational and project management skills.

Learning with a Hands-On Approach:

  • Work closely with experienced professionals who are passionate about mentorship.
  • Take on real responsibilities to gain practical experience in the dynamic field of media production. 

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in a relevant degree program (communications, marketing, design, etc.) or recent graduate.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Basic knowledge of social media platforms and trends.
  • Eagerness to learn and a proactive attitude.

Job Type: Internship – Unpaid – school credit

This is an unpaid internship; however, academic credit may be available with approval from the student’s academic program.
