In today’s rapidly evolving job market, states are seeking innovative strategies to address the growing demand for a skilled workforce. In this regard, Oklahoma has taken commendable steps by introducing the Oklahoma Works initiative and the Workforce Development Program (WEX). These programs are designed to bridge the skills gap, connect job seekers with employers, and foster economic growth. Boiling Point Media has partnered with Oklahoma’s Workforce, welcoming those in the WEX program.

Why Boiling Point Media Partners with WEX

Boiling Point Media proudly announces our partnership with Oklahoma Works and the Workforce Development Program. WEX allows Boiling Point Media state funding for on-the-job training and gives individuals the skills they need to grow. Sheyenne Cannon, a VFX Artist and Graphic Designer at Boiling Point, is part of the WEX Program. After spending a few months as an intern, Sheyenne was needed for an illustration piece and proved herself more than capable. “It was cool that we were able to get her within just a few short months doing a really significant project, going out to clients,” said Ryan Bellgardt, Creative Director and Partner. “Something I never really expected in the early days of Boiling Point Media was that it would grow to a state where we were able to provide people with jobs that were what they considered their dream jobs.” Boiling Point Media utilizes the WEX program as a way to continue to guarantee jobs in an industry that is heavily contract based.
